U.S. actor Tony Curtis, who died Thursday at age 85, was shot in a hundred films and long embodied the role of playful charmers. Transvestite unforgettable Some Like It Hot with Jack Lemmon and Marilyn Monroe in 1959, he was known in the 1950s playing in many adventure films, before triumphing in the comic genre. Son of a Hungarian Jewish tailor, Tony Curtis (Bernard Schwartz, whose real name) was born June 3, 1925 in New York in the poor neighborhood of the Bronx.
