As expected, Research in Motion (RIM) has unveiled its own touch pad at its Developer Conference DevCon 2010 in San Francisco. BlackPad, SurfBook ... finally, it will be Blackberry Playbook with a brand new OS: Blackberry OS Tablet provided by QNX, which was acquired by RIM in 2008.
The Blackberry is a tablet with Playbook multitouch display 7 "1024 x 600 pixels, and versatile meeting multimedia needs as those of the company through its compatibility with BES (Blackberry Enterprise Server). It is designed as a client lightweight and does not store information and content posted from a BlackBerry smartphone.
It also offers integration with Blackberry services when connected to a RIM smartphone via a Bluetooth wireless link. It will show on the big screen Blackberry data: email, instant messaging, calendar, tasks, documents, with the possibility to modify some elements, the changes being made directly on the smartphone.
